Window and Door frame specifications.
All our frames are of multi chamber design and reinforced with galvanised steel to British Standard requirements, this is to provide adequate strength for support and to resist twisting and bowing within the frames.
All windows and doors have a equal sightline gasket, this means that there is no rubber lip protruding up the glass, ours finishes flush with the profile. All rubber gaskets are co-extruded so as to stop them shrinking back in the corners and allowing water ingress.
The frame width is 70mm from the front to back which is the widest available. All frames are glazed from the inside for added security. This stops the glass from being taken out from the outside.
Frames can be standard chamfered profile or an ovolo profile if required.
Window and conservatory door, door and glass specifications.
All sealed units fitted into our frames are 28mm in depth.
Glass sealed units are available in various ratings, A, B & C. This will be required for when you come to sell your property and will be recorded in your HIPS pack.
‘A’ rated units are made up of 4mm low iron glass, 20mm air gap filled with Argon Gas and 4mm low ‘E’ glass to the inner pane.
‘B’ rated units are made up of 4mm glass, 20mm air gap filled with Argon Gas and 4mm low ‘E’ glass to the inner pane.
‘C’ rated units are made up of 4mm glass, 20mm air gap and 4mm low ‘E’ glass to the inner pane.
